Ali Emrouznejad<\/a><\/em><\/strong> is a Professor and Chair in Business Analytics at Surrey Business School, UK. He also serves as the director of the Centre for Business Analytics in Practice<\/a>, leading research efforts in various fields, including performance measurement and management, efficiency and productivity analysis, as well as AI and big data. Prior to his current position, he held the role of head of the Business Analytics Group at Aston University.<\/p>\n

He completed his MSc in Applied Mathematics and later earned his PhD in Operational Research and Systems from Warwick Business School, UK. After receiving his PhD in Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) in 1998, he joined the development team of Performance Indicators (PI) in Higher Education (HE) at HEFCE (Higher Education Funding Council for England). The PI in HE has garnered extensive publication<\/a> and is now released annually by HESA (Higher Education Statistical Agency).<\/p>\n

Ali Emrouznejad<\/em><\/strong> has been recognized by Stanford University as one of the top 2% most influential scientists<\/a> worldwide. With h-index of over 80<\/a>, he has been listed with \u201cWorld Top 100 Business & Management \/ Business Administration Scientists 2024<\/a>\u201d. He holds the title of Fellow in various prestigious institutions, including the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications<\/a> (FIMA), the Institute for Sustainability<\/a>, and the Institute for People-Centred Artificial Intelligence<\/a>. Additionally, he serves on the UKRI (UK Research and Innovation) research panel and is also part of the UKRI Talent Peer Review College.<\/p>\n
